Youth Court
Synopsis
At the Red Hook Youth Court, Brooklyn teens dole out justice, try to change the lives of their peers, and search for justice in their own lives. They run a courtroom where they decide real cases for minor offenses. This film explores the court system through their eyes.

Lorraine A. Ustaris
Lorraine is a multimedia storyteller and award-winning educator. She believes the aims of teaching and journalism are one and the same. Her childhood love for photography and filmmaking were nurtured by her father who deferred his dream of a career in broadcast journalism in the Philippines when he immigrated to the United States. Her work has been featured on National Geographic, Elle.com, The Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting, The New York Amsterdam News, PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs, and WHYY-TV in Philadelphia.
