Eva Andersen
Born and raised in small town Iowa, Eva Andersen attended University of Northern Iowa, where she graduated summa cum laude with degrees in communication studies and jazz saxophone. An experienced stage performer, Eva has paricipated in sketch comedy, off-Broadway performances, and she has even won Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater. She is currently pursuing a career in broadcast journalism. She hopes to take her skills gained from the documentary filmmaking specialization to create highly creative and cinematic broadcast pieces.

Francesca Carter
Francesca Carter was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, where she concentrated in film, journalism, and psychology. Back in high school, she made a film called Branded, an experiential awareness film on sex trafficking. At age 18, she co-founded a film production company, creating films for a local television station and small businesses. She came to Columbia Journalism School to hone her video storytelling skills. She hopes to eventually start her own documentary film company. She also has a background in acting and is excited to tell the stories of actors who are passionate about their craft.
