JAMIE MAYES

Jamie Mayes was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin where she majored in Biology. Before coming to Columbia Journalism Schoo, she has worked in Doha, Qatar for The Princeton Review, and in Houston as a public school teacher. Mayes has a passion for video storytelling and hopes to continue to tell visual stories focused on health, education, and immigration.

DEVYN RAFOLS-NUÑEZ

Devyn Rafols-Nuñez is a multi-media journalist living in the Lower East Side. She graduated from New York University with a joint degree in political science and journalism. She traveled and studied in London and Madrid, and interned at Vogue. She has journaled for the East Village digital sector of The New York Times, worked on breaking news for CBS New York. Devyn is currently an associate producer for NBC Nightly News.
